We are pleased to start another “Futuring Exercise Series” today. Invited by the Institute for Visual Communication of the University of Arts Linz, we have the pleasure of co-designing the course Labor 2 – Discursicve Design over the entire summer semester.

Under the title Design for Repurposed Futures – Artefacts for pre- & reconfigured times ahead, “stuff” from a future will be designed and built to be presented to a broad public at the end of the semester in the course of the BestOff exhibition (a presentation format of the Kunstuniversität Linz).
It is probably needless to say that we are very curious about the outcomes of this interaction and cooperation.
This Futuring Exercise Series is part of Curiouser and Curiouser, cried Alice: Rebuilding Janus from Cassandra and Pollyanna (CCA), an art-based research project of Design Investigations (ID2) at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and Time’s Up, supported by the Programme for Arts-based Research (PEEK) on the part of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF): AR561. All Time’s Up activities are also kindly supported by Bundesministerium Kunst, Kultur, öffentlicher Dienst und Sport BMKOES, Linz Kultur, Land OÖ & Linz AG.
