Far from saying that we would welcome winter! Only saying – with reference to our brand-new heating system – that winter may come if there is no chance for an alternative.
What felt pretty much “undoable” for many many years has been done within a handful of days! Not taking into account all these innumerable hours and days of preliminary work including research, communication with all parties involved, decision making as well as all sort of re-organising and cleaning before, during and afterwards!
During the installation we were not always convinced that this conversion would have a good end…
But in the end, the beginning of our “NO MORE OIL” era feels really good: we have finally gotten rid of the old oil-fired heating system. It is no longer fossil fuels keeping us warm during cold seasons! Hurray!
